Transforming young people's mental health through science, innovation and collaboration

Improving prevention, detection and treatment

We work to reduce the prevalence and impact of mental health conditions in young people, by connecting cutting-edge research with innovation and real-world implementation to help prevent and reduce conditions like depression and anxiety. Our work enables earlier intervention, better support and long-term solutions for young people’s mental health.

We unite research, innovation, and implementation to ensure evidence translates into effective and user-acceptable real-world solutions. Our goal is to improve mental health outcomes across the system, especially through earlier support for conditions like depression and related mental health challenges.

Working towards lasting change

We want to see a future where fewer young people experience poor mental health, and those who do get the help they need early. Our mission is to:

Research

We help deepen understanding of links between social, psychological and biological factors mechanisms that lead to mental ill health, and identify key points for prevention, early detection, management and treatment.

Collaboration

We connect researchers, innovators, practitioners, policymakers, organisations and families to generate ideas and co-develop solutions.

Innovation

We help bring promising ideas to life, using tools and insights from innovation management and systems thinking, to enable effective, evidence-based and user-acceptable solutions.

Implementation

We focus on applying innovations in real-world settings to ensure impact happen - not decades from now, but today.
